- 1 Banh mi
- 100g pork (grilled, roasted, or cold cuts)
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1 small carrot, julienned
- 1/4 daikon radish, julienned
- Fresh cilantro sprigs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp pate (optional)
- 1-2 tsp soy sauce
- 1-2 tsp pickled vegetables (carrot & daikon)
- Salt & Pepper

- Slice the baguette lengthwise, leaving a hinge.
- Julienne the carrot and daikon, then pickle them in vinegar, sugar,
and salt for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice cucumber and chili (if using).
- Prepare pork (grill, roast, or use cold cuts).

- Spread mayonnaise and pate (if using) on both sides of the baguette.
- Layer pork slices inside the baguette.
- Add pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber slices, and fresh cilantro.
- Drizzle with soy sauce and add chili slices if desired.

- Close the banh mi and gently press.
- Cut the sandwich into portions if desired.
- Serve immediately while fresh.
- Enjoy immediately!
