Seaweed Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
  • 8 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 30g dried seaweed (wakame)
  • 200g beef brisket or sliced beef (optional)
  • 1 block tofu, cubed
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  1. Preparation:
    • Soak dried seaweed in cold water for 10 minutes, then drain and cut into bite-sized pieces.
    • If using beef, slice thinly and season lightly with salt and pepper.
    • In a large pot, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
    • Add beef and cook until just browned, then add the soaked seaweed.
    • For extra flavor, add a splash of soy sauce while sautéing the beef and seaweed.
  2. Simmer the Soup:
    • Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil.
    • Add tofu cubes and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
    • Season with additional soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
  3. Serve:
    • Ladle soup into bowls and serve hot.
    • Enjoy seaweed soup as a nourishing meal or side dish.
    • Garnish with sliced green onions if desired for extra freshness!
